The microbiology faculty conduct research in immunology and disease pathology, microbiome and virome analyses, vaccines and virotherapy approaches to enhance immunity, metabolic regulation and generation of biofuels, bioremediation and microbial ecology, and antimicrobials for treatment of disease.
